Glitter, Glamour, and Glow

How about a little sparkle to brighten up the day? I would go for that, wouldn’t you? Well, my way and only way to glitter, glamour, and glow is through the sacred Tahitian monoi oil, also called the gold satin beauty oil from French Polynesia, the only glitter oil I trust, the only one I use. See, it is not just about the glitter, the glamour, and the glow. This beauty satin oil also nourishes your skin because it contains 51% of Tahitian sacred monoi oil. As a result, it is not just a fun product to use when going out in the evening, it is also a moisturizer with the unforgettable, distinct Tahitian fragrance!

Besides the wonderful properties of the Monoi oil (massaging, hydrating, anti-aging, etc.) and the numerous areas of application (your neck, your body, your hair, your nails, all in one bottle!), it is subtly musky, tropical, and the fragrance stays for a long time. Why? Because of its high oil content. It is very much like the difference between eau de toilette, eau de parfum, and perfume: the higher the concentration of oil, the longer the fragrance lasts on your skin.

When we think “Tahiti”, we think “beaches and bungalows”. There is so much more! There is also the tiare.

The tiare? Yes, the “beauty flower”. The tiare is venerated there, and the natives heavily rely on this sacred flower. Tahitian women have beautiful skin. That is a fact. It is undeniable. Yes, the climate is quite humid, but the sun is intense and brutal. Yet, Tahitian women spend no money on facial and body creams. How come? Somewhere on the main island, near Papeete, is the “Institut du Monoi”, where I received a warm welcome a few years ago and learnt so much about the tiare, the sacred flower of Tahiti. The visit was a turning point for me. That is when I realized that I no longer should spend money on luxurious, world famous brands that did… very little for me… rather, I decided to focus on the wealth of benefits that the flora provides on a day to day basis, starting with the French Polynesian oil.

You see, there is a time to be serious, and there is a time to have fun, still with class, style, and elegance. A sprinkle of glitter gives you just that. The little “umph”, the “je ne sais quoi”, the ability to be sassy without being tacky whether you are hosting a party or you are a guest, whether you are staying at home for a tete-a-tete dinner or going out. Make it special for you. Make the moment memorable. Leave that sparkle wherever you go.
