Claude Monet may have been the founder of French Impressionist painting, but little did he know then that four generations later, Diane was going to carry the torch for her famous ancestor.
Diane lives part time in Provence where she finds her inspiration. She has a remarkably keen eye and a love for the South of France. She captures her favorite scenery through layers and layers of painting, using up to 200 to 300 colors for each masterpiece.
“Diane Monet bears a great artist’s name and enough talent to carry it beautifully. She has not forgotten art was once about beauty. A career highlight was her 2002 inclusion into the Salon des Artistes Indépendants in Paris, an exhibition (also an artist’s society) counting in its talent pool Paul Cezanne, Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, Paul Gaugin, and Camille Pissaro.” – Bill Fallon, Westchester County Business Journal (New York)
Diane’s work has been displayed in high-end art galleries around the world including Paris, London, Tokyo, and New York, just to name a few. Each oeuvre is a showpiece that carries a burst of strong and uplifting emotions about Provence, Giverny, and other beautiful scenes of France.
